College Internship Opportunity – Assistant to Founder at BFree Organics (For Credit)
Location: Hybrid – Los Angeles, CA + Remote | Flexible Schedule | For College Credit

We're currently offering an exclusive internship opportunity for a motivated, wellness-minded college student who is looking to gain hands-on experience in brand development, wellness blogging, content creation, and business operations.
Position: Founder’s Assistant (Intern)
Commitment: 8–12 hours/week (flexible)
Compensation: Unpaid, for college credit only
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining the company-wide schedule using the Notion App
- Coordinate virtual and in-person team meetings
- Research and scout local boutiques and wellness retailers for potential collaborations
- Contribute to monthly BFree Organics newsletters and lifestyle/wellness blog posts
- Assist in developing content ideas for social media and email marketing
- Support with day-to-day administrative and creative tasks
- Participate in photoshoots, product research, and community engagement (when available)
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive internship credit
- Strong interest in wellness, beauty, sustainability, and conscious living
- Self-starter with excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience with Notion, Google Workspace, and social media platforms a plus
- Passion for storytelling, content creation, and mindful marketing

Sales & Wholesale Manager

Role Summary
We’re seeking a dynamic Sales & Wholesale Manager to accelerate our retail footprint—placing our botanical formulas into spas, boutiques, hotels, and clean-beauty retailers nationwide. You’ll craft and execute our B2B sales strategy, cultivate partnerships, and manage the end-to-end wholesale process.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Outreach:
- Research and prioritize spa, wellness, lifestyle, and clean-beauty boutiques aligned with our brand.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns (email, calls, in-person visits, trade shows).
Account Management:
- Onboard new wholesale partners: present line sheets, set pricing & terms, coordinate samples.
- Serve as primary liaison for existing accounts: process orders, handle replenishment, and troubleshoot.
Sales Collateral & Training:
- Create and update line sheets, sell-sheets, and digital catalogs.
- Deliver product trainings (in-person and virtual) to retail staff.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Maintain a CRM pipeline; track leads, proposals, and closed deals.
- Produce monthly sales reports with insights and growth recommendations.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Production to manage inventory allocations.
- Work with Marketing to align wholesale promotions and co-op advertising.
- Qualifications
- 3+ years B2B sales or wholesale account management experience—ideally in beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle products.
- Proven track record of opening and growing retail/spa accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with trade-show environments, line sheets, and wholesale terms (MOQs, net terms, MAP).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Passion for clean beauty, sustainability, and storytelling through heritage ingredients.

Position: Farmers Market Assistant

Job Summary: The Farmers Market Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of BFree Organics' booth at the farmers market. This position requires a personable, punctual individual with a passion for clean beauty and holistic wellness. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, live in proximity to Los Angeles, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. And on occasion along side our Founder, Cassandra Dailey.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with overseeing market site and market day activities.
- Help with the setup and teardown of the market site and signage.
- Assist with selling BFree Organics skincare and wellness products, vintage items, home goods, apparel, plants, etc.
- Work cooperatively with the market manager, recreation, public works, and other city staff.
- Provide information to visitors about the farmers market.
Skills:
- Strong customer relations and public contact skills, requiring tact and courtesy.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to make sound, rational decisions using judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with vendors, the public, and market volunteers.
- Ability to work independently with no direct supervision and prioritize work.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse clientele.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to and belief in the organization's shared values.
- Knowledge of clean beauty, holistic wellness, and lifestyle.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to coordinate and direct various activities involved with the farmers market.
- Ability to work in various moderate weather conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, rain, etc.
- Must live in proximity to Los Angeles, CA.
